As wedding filmmakers, we’re lucky enough to witness some incredible love stories, but every now and again a wedding comes along that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with this job in the first place.
This was one of those weddings.
On one of the longest days of the year, Claire, the girls and I travelled to Whitebottom Farm to capture one of my oldest friends marrying the love of his life. I’d known Ric for years. We’ve shared plenty of unforgettable rock ‘n’ roll nights together, so there was never going to be a conventional wedding.
It had to be a festival.
And what a festival it was.

Editing these films has been emotional.
Filming friends is different.
This wasn’t simply another booking on the calendar.
This was someone I’ve known for years beginning the next chapter of his life with an incredible woman, surrounded by the people who love them most.
As I worked through the footage, there were moments that genuinely brought a tear to my eye.
Every edit felt personal.
Every music choice mattered.
Every frame was crafted with the same care I’d give my own family.
Together we’ve created five films from their wedding day, and I can honestly say this cinematic highlight film is one of my favourite edits we’ve ever produced.
